OUR STORY

Beecher and Allison knew of each other months before they started dating. Introduced through mutual friends the two worked together for a brief time at Foundation Nightclub which Beecher was a partner of.
Meeting again months later at a friends house for a party they bonded over a game of Jenga, and the rest is history. Inseparable from the start is an understatement. They spent 12 out of the next 13 days together which was very unlike either of them to do with their very busy schedules, but something drew them to each other instantly. Allison took an internship in Barcelona a few weeks later and to both of their surprise they emailed, messaged and talked almost every day. This was the beginning of a beautiful love, respect and friendship that has carried them through the past 4-5 years of their lives.
The two have been living as a family with their black lab Rascal for two years now, and celebrated the birth of their first child-- Royeh in August of 2011. They can't wait to make it official and celebrate with all of their friends and family in paradise.
THE PROPOSAL

HER SIDE
After four wonderful years of dating and months of anticipation, Beecher proposed to me on a quiet Tuesday night at home. I had stopped trying to guess when he was going to ask, as all of our anniversaries, holidays, birthdays etc.. had passed by. Though we had gone ring shopping months prior (which was so exciting!), I still felt nervous, wondering when the big moment would come. In true Beecher fashion, he kept me guessing and I was completely surprised when I came back from the bathroom during our game of Scrabble and found this message spelled out on the board! It was perfect. All of our close family can vouch for our competitiveness when it comes to Scrabble, and I still joke with him that he was lucky he proposed or I would have won that game! I knew from the first month of dating Beecher that he was who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and I'm so happy he feels the same way. I can't wait to marry my best friend!
HIS SIDE
Game On!
I had the ring for about 3 months and felt I needed to find the right time to make my move. All of our special days (Birthday, Envision, Anniversary and Valentines) needed to stay just that, special days. Although I had the ring in my pocket on all of the above, but didn't know how I wanted to execute. I wanted us to have another day in the year that we could celebrate our love for each other but this day needed to just be the 2 of us.
After being beat by her in Scrabble every time we played I decided I would go for the double victory and seal the deal with the love of my life, now mother of our child and my best friend.
I was never nervous that she would say No, but I wanted to make sure it was a super special yes that just the two of us could enjoy together.
